 SAINT JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH
Saint Joseph was founded as a Mission for the African American Catholic Community in 1952 by the Society of the Divine Savior. Today, Saint Joseph is a diverse parish that has served its community, Catholic and non-Catholic, over the years. Now it is time to move forward and embrace the challenge of building a new Church.
The plans for the new 12,000 square feet church and its ancillary buildings have been finalized. In addition to the new church, the project includes renovating the existing church into offices, storage, and meeting rooms.
Our goal is to raise $2.5 million dollars. The theme of our campaign is “Make a Joyful Noise” from Psalm 100. The name is fitting as we celebrate making a historical move—by the grace of God—that will forever change our growing community of faith.
