Cookbook Update – "Thank You" to everyone who took the time to submit their favorite recipes for the “Taste and See” cookbook. It has been decided to extend the deadline to give people more time to turn in their favorite recipes. The goal is still to have the cookbook ready in time for the holidays. Please drop your recipes in the recipe box in the church vestibule. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Jessica Mayer.

Pledge Drive
As you contemplate and pray about our pledge drive, please bear in mind that anything that you can pledge would be of benefit to reaching our $2.5M goal.
A formal pledge tells the Diocese of Birmingham that our parishioners are united and set on achieving our goal. With documented pledges, the Diocese will be more willing to allow the church to begin the construction process earlier than planned since a pledge is considered to be a promise of cash coming into the church. Please commit to a pledge.

Capital Campaign Question & Answer Corner
Do you have a question for the Committee? Send it to campaign@saintjosephcc.com and we’ll provide an answer in an upcoming bulletin.
Today’s Question: Can I pledge something less than the $5,000 minimum amount indicated on the brochure?
Answer: Absolutely!!!! The brochure was not meant to dictate minimum pledge amounts but rather to break down a daily sacrifice that would yield an amount over a three year pledge drive period.
If you can commit to a $1.00 a week for three years, that is $156 more than what we have today. The key is to make this a primary commitment on your part to the church community. Everyone doing their part—no matter how small or big —we can easily make our goal.
